Reset NR2 or NR4 parameters to defaults

Use the Reset Defaults button on the NR2 or NR4 tab to restore all parameters for that engine to their factory values in a single click.

Before you start

  • AetherSDR must be running. A radio connection is not required to access AetherDSP Settings.

Steps

Reset NR2 defaults

  1. Click Settings > AetherDSP Settings....
  2. Click the NR2 tab.
  3. Click Reset Defaults.

All NR2 controls return to the values in the table below.

Reset NR4 defaults

  1. Click Settings > AetherDSP Settings....

Tips

  • Reset Defaults affects only the tab where you click it. Resetting NR2 does not alter NR4 settings, and vice versa.
  • Changes take effect immediately. If NR2 or NR4 is active on a receive slice at the time, you will hear the engine revert to its default behaviour as soon as you click Reset Defaults.
  • In v0.9.7 the AetherDSP Settings dialog delegates all controls to an embedded AetherDspWidget. The tabs, sliders, and buttons described in this article remain identical from an operator's perspective; only the internal implementation has changed.
