Enable Single-Click to Tune

This page explains how to enable single-click tuning on the panadapter. By default, AetherSDR requires a double-click to retune; enabling this option reduces that to a single click.

Before you start

• AetherSDR must be running and connected to a FLEX-8600 radio.
• A panadapter must be visible in the main window.

Steps

1. Click View in the menu bar.
2. Click Single-Click to Tune.

A checkmark appears next to the item when it is enabled. Click it again to return to double-click behavior.

What each control does

Control	Default	Behavior
View > Single-Click to Tune	Off (unchecked)	When checked, a single click on the panadapter retunes the VFO to that frequency. When unchecked, a double-click is required.

Tips

• If you find yourself accidentally retuning while reading the panadapter display, disable this option to restore the double-click requirement.
