Reset the VK3AMP amplifier¶
This page helps you reset the VK3AMP amplifier when a fault occurs or operation needs to be reinitialized. The reset requires a deliberate hold-to-confirm action to prevent accidental resets while transmitting.
Before you start¶
- Connect to your FLEX-8600 radio (the VK3AMP applet requires an active radio connection).
- Open the VK3AMP Amplifier applet: Applet panel > VKAMP tile.
Steps¶
- Locate the "Reset" button in the VK3AMP applet.
- Press and hold the "Reset" button until the reset is confirmed by the amplifier.
- Confirm the status pill at the top of the applet shows a connected state and no fault banner appears.

Tips¶
- The "Reset" button requires a deliberate hold gesture — a quick click alone will not trigger the reset. Keep holding until you see the status pill report a connected state.
